Things are getting strange when you find yourself defending real estate agents but I've watched a string of inner-city auctions during the past few weekends and nobody could have guessed how strong prices have become. Real estate agents stand accused of underquoting because most properties are selling at least 10 per cent higher than estimated and many as high as 40 per cent more than estimated, according to an Age survey.
