| Mastro Auctions, memorabilia business matures
The Mastro Auctions warehouse at Madison Street in Burr Ridge is part reality, part fantasy. Walk past the large photography studio, and youll approach a set of baseball bats. Vice President of Acquisitions Brian Marren pulls a particularly light one out of its case. Fifty-one years ago Ted Williams hit his 400th home run with it. To the left, there are a set of comic books. Superman is lifting a damaged car over his head. Finally, youll arrive at the baseball cards, including the famed 1909 T206 Honus Wagner. The going rate for atop-condition Wagner is $1.26 million. I love what I do, says Doug Allen, president and chief operating officer. I turned my hobby into a profitable business. What more could you ask for? Mastro Auctions Inc. is the largest auction house of sports memorabilia in the United States, generating nearly four times the revenue of its closest competitors, according to industry experts.

Iran Plans To Invite Bids For Two Nuclear Plants
Tehran, Iran (AHN) - Iran said on Sunday that it would invite bids for the construction of two new nuclear power plants. That decision comes despite international pressure over its nuclear ambitions. "The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran will issue international tenders for the construction of two nuclear power plants with the capacity of 1,000 to 1,600 megawatts in Bushehr," said Ahmad Fayyazbakhsh, the deputy head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization. The plants would be light-water reactors and each plant would cost up to $1.7 billion and take up to 11 years to construct, he further added. According to media reports, Russia and some European companies have expressed willingness to take part in bidding. Replying to a question on whether American companies could be allowed in bidding, he said, "Any company interested in the issue, can participate in the tenders." Millet butcher plant on the block
After receiving a call from the owner of Thorsby Auction Market, another avenue for cattle for the non-profit 3M Meats Inc. has surfaced.
